Meet Sarah Abubaker

Sarah has dedicated 17 years to community organizing and advocacy in Richmond, notably as President of the Westover Hills Neighborhood Association where she grew neighbor engagement and supported local businesses and schools. With a background in public policy and strategy, and a commitment to education and youth development, Abubaker is recognized for her contributions to nonprofits such as Richmond Performing Arts Alliance, Art 180 and Bon Air Juvenile Correction Center. A proven leader, she aims to leverage almost two decades of experience to improve the Fourth District and the city as a whole.
